Description

Seagull Angelfish:
- Natural Habitat: These freshwater fish are native to the Amazonian rainforest and are commonly found in slow-moving streams, floodplains, and swamps. They thrive in warm, acidic water with no salinity. Their habitat is swampy but not dirty, allowing sunlight to penetrate and reach them.
- Appearance: Angelfish have unique arrowhead-shaped bodies with beautiful, flowing fins.
- Behavior: Generally peaceful, angelfish can be territorial, especially during breeding season. They use their bright colors and intricate patterns to communicate and establish dominance within their harem.
- Diet: Omnivores, they feed on various algae, small invertebrates, and coral polyps. In captivity, a varied diet of frozen or live brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, chopped seafood, and algae-based pellets is essential.
- Size and Lifespan: Fully grown, they reach a body length of three to four inches and a height of six inches. The average lifespan is 10 to 12 years.
