The bristlenose pleco is an excellent choice for smaller aquariums! They grow to about 5""-6"" each, and are peaceful and shy additions to a community aquarium. They're very hardy and mostly nocturnal and come in a variety of colours.

Be sure to check the adult size of your pleco variety, as they grow quickly! Most varieties enjoy rasping on driftwood and hiding during the day.
