Onion Nerite Snail

Description

Temperature: 65-85

Minimum Tank Size: 2 Gallons

Nerite snails are masters of algae clean-up and are an asset to most freshwater aquariums. They cannot reproduce in freshwater, but may lay small sesame-seed like eggs around the aquarium (sometimes on other snails). They need calcium-rich water for their shells, so be sure to buffer if you're from a soft-water region, and offer calcium-rich foods.

There are a wide variety of nerite snails, and if you select this listing, we'll pick one at random for you.
