Ember tetras are excellent small schooling fish, growing to just .8" and exhibiting a lovely orange colour. They're very hardy, and popular for well-planted aquariums due to their contrasting colour with the foliage and their small size. They are peaceful and schooling, so keep them in groups of at least six.
