Peacock Gudgeons are vibrant fish that aren't too difficult to breed in captivity. They are usually very peaceful, and a great addition to a community tank. They live about 4-5 years on average and grow to about 3" long. They are not schooling fish, but they are social and prefer to be in groups of 2-3. They really thrive in well-planted aquariums and will enjoy caves and driftwood as well. Finally, these can be a bit picky with food, many only being willing to eat frozen or live. We're doing our best to wean them onto pellets for you, though!
