Pygmy corydoras are a peaceful, shoaling species that rarely grow over 1" in length. Keep six or more in a 9+ gallon aquarium! Corydoras need soft substrates like sand, as they have delicate barbels on their snout. They prefer soft slightly-acidic water. They're omnivores, so be sure to feed them a variety of vegetable and meat-based foods. If well-cared for, they may even spawn in your home aquarium!
